THE CROWTHER FAMILY
The first time I saw my husband was at BYU when he stopped to talk to my sister. He was a tall, very thin, recently returned missionary, full of enthusiasm for life. Now, 46 years later, he's still tall, a little past thin, but still full of enthusiasm. He is constantly looking for things to do and ways to better our life together. He works hard to earn a living, but much of his enjoyment comes when he has time to study and learn new insights about the gospel. He is a prolific author who writes in a manner understandable to everyone. He's also a gifted speaker and teacher and has the unique ability to take a group of singers and turn them into an excellent choir in just a few rehearsals. Our children and their spouses enjoy being with him and frequently seek his advice and counsel. He's involved in our grandchildren's lives too with his often-heard request, "Tell me three fun things you've been doing." Many have been members of his "Grandpa Crowther's Hundred-book Club" and the other rewards he crafts for helping them achieve. |
But most of all, he is my best friend, my love, my support, my missionary companion, my Spanish tutor, and my personal cheering section. I love him dearly and am grateful for all his talents and abilities, but especially for his choosing me to spend this life and the eternities with him. |

Scott and Lisa and Bethany have all taught early-morning Seminary. All seven were married in the Temple, to wonderful spouses whom we love and regard as our own children. Thirteen of our children and their spouses have graduated from college, and several hold graduate-level degrees. We've truly been blessed! |
